A new Farmers' Market was launched in Stony Stratford on Good Friday. Based on the Market Square in the town centre, this market will be a regular feature in the town's calendar of events, it being held year round on the fourth Friday of each month. The market was blessed with a warm fine morning and the event exceeded everyone's expectations with a majority of stallholders selling out.

The market offers a wide variety of local produce and over 20 stallholders have booked to attend the monthly event. The market runs from 8.30am until 2pm and is anticipated to become a popular event in this market town on the north west outskirts of Milton Keynes.
