Foxbury Farm Shop is thrilled to announce acclaimed
Food Critic, Journalist and Author Helen
Peacocke has agreed to join the Foxbury team in
celebrating the opening of the new farm shop.
On Saturday 20th March 2010 Helen will plant a fruit
tree that will act as a symbol of growth over the
future years. The tree will be planted next to the
fresh fruit and vegetables so customers will be able
to watch it grow each time they visit the shop.
The day will also include Foxbury Gloucester Old Spot
Pig Roasts, a Foxbury BBQ with a special celebratory
sausage, cookery fun with the Foxbury Six Nations
pizza and a children's story corner. Many of the
Foxbury new born lambs will be located adjacent to the
shop for customers to visit along with the children's
toy ride on tractors. The day promises
to be lots of fun, and a real opportunity to invite
existing and new customers to the shop to celebrate
the best of local produce. The
celebrations will run from 11am to 4pm. The tree
will be planted at 11am. If you would
like to arrange for a photographer to join us on
Saturday, or you would like to use some of Foxbury's
photographs please contact Di Dawes on 01993 867385 /
shop@foxburyfarm.co.uk. See the website news page
