To celebrate the 100 years of the Oppenheimer Family at Waltham Place

Thursdays 7-9pm, tickets £5 including glass of wine

Garden Information for 2010

New for 2010 : Open day in aid of NGS- Sunday 30th May 11am-4pm

after this we are open:

Tuesday to Friday June 1st -24th September: 10am-4pm.

Tuesday’s and Thursday’s visits are by appointment only,

and preferred days for groups to come.

Friday is a NGS Open Day

Wednesday offers walks only with the Gardener at 11am and 2pm

Tariffs

Entry to the Gardens- £4.00 per person.

Guided tour with the Gardener ( Ornamental and/or Kitchen Garden): –

£25 for each group of up to 20 people (plus garden entry for each person)

Tea-Room available selling drinks, cakes and light lunches.

Farm Shop selling our own produce

Group Packages

For groups of 10 + people

We offer tours of our ornamental gardens which enable visitors to learn more about our philosophy and methodology here, where we work with nature rather than fight against it and the result is a interesting contrast between formal structures and naturalistic plantings.

We also offer tours of our Kitchen Garden, which is both Soil Association and Demeter certified, and visitors can learn more about these different approaches and what gives our produce its uniqueness.

« Gardeners Delight » £14.50 per person: this includes

  • tea or coffee on arrival a light lunch, from our own produce- soup & salad and bread
  • entry to the gardens
  • a guided tour with the Gardener/Kitchen Gardener
  • tea or coffee and afternoon cake

« Gardeners Morning/Afternoon » £9 per person: this includes

  • tea or coffee on arrival
  • entry to the gardens
  • a guided tour with the Gardener/Kitchen Gardener
  • tea or coffeee and afternoon cake
