Small food producers or retailers are invited to apply to take part.  The main food festival is on Sunday 25th May with demonstrations, tastings and selling to the public.  On Monday 26th there will be no demonstration kitchen. We ask our participants to involve and inform the public whether this be sustainable farming, fair trade or general current food issues rather than just a straight selling opportunity.

Last year was our first food festival and despite the torrential rain, a very successful event.  The food event takes place in a large marquee in Victoria Park in the centre of Newbury along with crafts, music and performers.  Various other venues in the town centre are used for the myriad of Arts activities all happening at the same time.  Do look at our website and go to Archive to see photos and what went on in previous years.
