Local Farmers' Markets
If you’ve ever wanted to know where local food comes
from, how it is grown, and ideas for cooking it, then visit one of the
26 Farmers’ Markets held every month in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and
Oxfordshire.
This is one of the best ways to meet the people who grow superb fruit
and vegetables, make delicious cheese, bread and preserves, and produce
tasty meat. They are always happy to have a chat about their products.
Every weekend and most weekdays there’s a Farmers’ Market taking place
in at least one of the towns or cities in the three counties. Most of
them are held once a month, but some – like Reading – take place twice a
month, and Wolvercote Farmers’ Market in Oxford is held every Sunday.
To view details of your local Farmers’ Markets, just select your county
from the menu (right) and you will see them listed by town.
Check out the News section for details of new
Farmers’ Markets and local events.
