SEFGP Subsidised Training Programmes
Food Group Full members receive support in training via 3 different ways:

  1. Applying for and attending courses organised by the SEFGP, i.e. Butchery courses in summer, EFSIS workshops in October. Such courses are publicised through e-Bulletins and in our Newsletters and Full Members enjoy up to 75% subsidies.

  2. Organising BBO Training events on specific topics. For example, in November our members attended “Advertising on a Low Budget” one-day workshop. This course was developed by the trainer and FG co-ordinator meeting producers’ needs in advertising and SEEDA have sponsored 75% of the course costs, producers having to cover one meal and information packs costs.

  3. Finding your own courses and applying for support from SEFGP: if you need specific training, for example, in Food Hygiene you may complete the Training Application Form (Word Document) and ask for support.
