About the BBO Food Group
The food group in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes and
Oxfordshire work as a federation to promote locally produced foods and
drinks.
The BBO Food Group Business Plan identifies priority
directions and activities covering the three counties.
Download the Business Plan here.
Each county food group has individual local programmes of activities,
leading on specific projects. The majority of activities are
co-ordinated by the Oxfordshire Food Group.
Membership of BBO Food Group is open to producers, processors,
caterers, retailers and consumers who are either based in the three
counties, or are based in a neighbouring county and sell their produce
within the BBO area.
As a business, you are invited to choose from four different types
of membership – Associate, Full, Hospitality and Patron.
Consumers and individual supporters of our activities and of local
food in general are offered the Food Forum package.
We are working with
Thames Valley Farmers’ Market Co-operative to promote local food and
drink through a joint marketing strategy, and can offer special
membership rates to members of TVFMC (see Full Membership).
